Our traditional pork pies are made from Pork Shoulder and Special Ham from Rare Breed Berkshire Porkers. The fillings are cut and mixed to a recipe passed down from generation to generation originating in the Victorian Era and combine a subtle mix of herbs and spices. The mix is encased in a delicious hot water crispy crust which gives that Pork Pie Crumble texture.
The Pork Pies are made in sizes from small picnic pork pies to the giant 10 pounder. The Pies are also produced with other fillings including Ploughman’s (pork, cheddar and pickle), Chicken and Ham, English Lamb and Mint and Steak and Mushroom.
The Pork Pies are all hand raised in the traditional method and have no artificial additives or preservatives.
They are a perfect part to any picnic basket or for high tea with our Smoked Ham, Smoked Salmon, Cheeses and Pickles.
